TOSLINK Optical Input Module Kit

The optical input module converts TOSLINK optical digital to S/PDIF, for feeding to one of our (or someone else's) S/PDIF receivers.
Available as a simple kit, it comes with an onboard 3.3V voltage regulator for a wide supply range and a Toshiba TORX 147LF optical receiver for support of up to 192kHz. Using included resistors, the output level can be set to either TTL or Consumer-level S/PDIF.
Wire connections are +5-12VDC and GND, and a two wire S/PDIF output. The approximately 1" square module is designed to be mounted to the case's rear panel by a single M3 or 4-40 screw (not included).
