My electronic knowledge is limited to changing the gain..... The circuit I would like to modify is described in the link below. I am sure they can help you out. On a side note, the Counterpoint discrete I/V is now available.

I've seen the current output of the buffalo as 16mA - is this correct? 2. Is 221R ok as an IV resistor for the buffalo (ie it will still be in current mode) 3. The IV stage I'm thinking of trying is SE - can I just use out+ and GND to feed the alt. I/V stage? Any help would be great.... Fran

You don't need an I/V resistor, and if you were going to use one it would be far better just to use the DAC as a voltage source, which it would be any way. Cheers! Russ
