Hi Russ or Brian.

Maby a stupid question but... Silenced

If you do like i have done and run one IVY with two Buffalo III DACs.
Using two Placid BPs to power left and right balanced channel on the IVY leaving the SE stage unused.

Now there is jumpers to power a single IVY using a Placid BP, right?

In my current config in dual mono with no SE channel.
Can you use those jumper points with som type of diode
instead of jumpers.
So you redirect exess power from both left and right balanced channel to the SE one.

Without mixing left and right channel togehter and still maintaining dual mono with the SE stage working also.
But with only two Placids instead of three? Think

No - you really can't use a diode like that - it will end up basically always going through one - you would be best off just to use one supply or three if you want to use the SE stage. Not two.
