I just started a new build for a B3 se -- Power first.. lol

All components soldered and when well together on the pcb board, except the (2) 4-pin Terminal Blocks, the pins on both TB’s seem to be a bit larger in size and will not fit thru the board with out brut force, which I know won’t go well.. NO issues with the other Terminal Blocks for the LCBPS

Please advise or suggest a fix

Hmmm, that is odd. Could be a different batch of terminal blocks than we normally use.

If you have a file you can file a small point at the tips of the TB leads, that should aid in getting them in.

Did the two sets of terminal blocks look different? (pin size/shape)

In regards to over all look no, I think they are just a touch larger, I tried to give you the best upclose picture i could of what they look like..

well if you are careful and use a flat edge of a worktop or something you should be able to work them in carefully - it will probably take some effort, but it should not hurt the board.

Hello Russ,

I used a very small drill bit and twisted it by hand only, I was able to get them thru but as I mentioned it was brute force that prevailed.

Sorry, was a way for the weekend.

The terminal blocks are the same as always. Some of the latest batch of boards seems to have slightly smaller holes for the TBs. I think it is too much plating in the through holes on some of them.

If you have trouble mounting the terminal blocks, it is better to try filing the TB pins a bit than to redrill the holes, as you can reduce/eliminate the though hole plating, which would mean solder is only connecting the TB pins to one side of the board.

As I mentioned to Russ I made it work... I do still have to test it so maybe "work" should be used loosely.

Please look at the wiring from the transformer to the LCDPS -- does this look correct to you?

Secondaries look fine to me, if the other set of primaries is violet and brown you're good to go. Just don't forget to use a fuse.

115V connection - I have (Gray and Brown) as the HOT and (Blue and Violet) neutral wire as mentioned in your Int Guide.
