Hi Russ, How about building a digital switch to switch different I2S/DSD/TTL-spdif lines? With a chip like the ones used for 3 to 1 hdmi switchers. Edited by user Monday, December 13, 2010 9:44:02 PM(UTC)

I can second this wish and pre-order for next X-mas! To use as an input-selector between for the Buffalo and different sources. Nic

Brian and I have thought about this several times. It is possible, but the multiplexer would need to have very small and consistent propagation delay. Edited by user Tuesday, December 14, 2010 6:31:04 AM(UTC)

Consistent could be easy: use 4 separate digital multiplexers, one per line. Small delay? Would that matter then?
