Hi Russ,

How about building a digital switch to switch different I2S/DSD/TTL-spdif lines? With a chip like the ones used for 3 to 1 hdmi switchers.

Brian and I have thought about this several times. It is possible, but the multiplexer would need to have very small and consistent propagation delay.

Consistent could be easy: use 4 separate digital multiplexers, one per line. Small delay? Would that matter then?
