Dear All,
did somebody tried to use this DAc with signal transformers? I have a pir of Lundhal LL1690 which I used with the CS4397 with success. I wonder whether there are folks out there that had tried signal trafos? Any experience to share?
Cheers Bob

Yes, but most information about it is on the diyaudio forum, see this thread: http://www.diyaudio.com/...alo-ii-transformers.htmlEDIT: sorry, just realized you were referring to the OPUS. That thread is about the BII, but most should also apply to the OPUS. Edited by user Wednesday, October 13, 2010 11:30:59 AM(UTC)

Are sure about that? I understood that the OPUS is a voltage output while the Bufalo is a current output, isn't it? Bob

I don't think you've read it, but it boils down to the fact the BII is used in voltage mode if you use a transformer.
