Help!
I am having problem with the BP power module's VR2 (20 ohm) adjustment to .25v and I have already destroyed three VR2. It seems the VR2 is difficult to adjust!
I am using the 200 ohm version (ran out of the 20 ohm version) of the VR2 at the moment; however, the reading is fluctuating (varying from .3 and .214) and not stable at all. The reading would slowly decreasing (to .214) after adjusted to .25v!
I am getting the reading of approx 212 ohm from measuring the VR2’s outer two pins (1 and 3). A reading of approx 212 ohm from pin 1 (right below the adjustment screw) and the middle pin. I don’t think this is right reading.
Could I possibly destroy other components (i.e. Bipolar Power Transistor right next to VR2)? I am running out of solutions due to not having very much of electronic experience!
Thank you for anyone’s input and helps!
Milton

I am measuring R2 for adjusting VR2 to the .25v!
Thanks, Milton

Is it connected to any load?
What is the output voltage set at?

No load yet! The voltage is set at 14.99v (close enough to 15v). 7.45 is for each side.
Thanks, Milton

I think you may have misunderstood the voltage recommendation. It should be +15V on one side and -15V on the other (each relative to GND). That would be 30V between + and - terminals.

Would this misunderstanding cause the fluctuating result of the VR2 adjustment to .25v?
I will try it again with the correct voltage setting of 15v for each of the + and - sides today!
Thanks again, Milton
