I just bought the Toslink module to feed a CS8414. In my DAC (DAC END by Andrea Ciuffoli) there is a transformer at the input. Where is better to connect the module ? Can I leave both the Toslink and the coax connected, obviously not using them at the same time.
Thanks,
Davide

I don't know anything about that DAC, but I will suggest you remember that the output of the TORX module is TTL level. You may want to use a resistor divider to get it to consumer level.

Thanks, I am still not sure what way to go. The first option is to build just an external TorX to COAX converter. For this application, do you have a reccomanded schematic ? As my spdif receiver supports TTL level signal (RS442), the other option is just to stick the output of the TORX to the CS8414 through a 0.1 nF cap. The only problem is that I do not know if I can leave the COAX in place or not. The input stage is the following: http://picasaweb.google....iers#5477291291688232978Thanks, Davide
