The frequency of the dropouts often decreases the longer the unit is used. I suffered the same problem using the USB + Metronome. How can solve the problem?

It may help to use an isolation transformer, but its impossible to say for sure. Using the MUX may indeed help, but it really depends on the true source of the issue.
