Hi, Brian,

Just received the Buffallo II. It looks to arrive in good shape and good packing.

I read from your manual and I would like to start off with voltage output first. I am wondering how I can configure it as voltage output. I am planning to use an output transformer. Is it that I need to put across a resistors on the output such that there is 195 ohm (as a resultant together with the resistance of the primary coil of the output transformer) at the output of the Buffalo.

Thanks in advance.

Alan

It is a differential voltage output of around 3.1Vpeak with 195ohms output impedance. It has common mode offset of AVCC/2.

I don't know enough about your transformer to answer the rest of your question. I don't use transformers much so I may not be the best qualified to answer. :)

I will be using the Lundahl LL1676 in a 2:1 configuration. I will let you know the result later. But it will be some time before I source all the necessary components such as the case, connectors, wires and transformer.
