Hi all,
I would like to test the analog output (a tube buffer) of my DAC (two Bufalo II in dual mono operation). I need to inject a sine and a square signal at the input of the analog stage (and output of the Buffalo), but I prefer not desoldering both stages because it is a little mess. Could the buffalo be damaged if I inject a signal (sine and square wave with a signal generator) at its output?
Also I would like to know the output impedance of the Buffalo in mono operation.
Thanks and regards, Francisco

I think you would be better off testing without the Buffalo connected, as it will influence the signal you are inputting. I don;t think it will cause any damage, but better safe than sorry.

Output impedance depends on the way the outputs are connected.
