Hi everybody!
I am very happy to join this forum.
After a few adventures, (ups and downs), in the dac research, I finally decided to embrasse my previous idea - often we go back to intial choices after making a big circle but it makes part of the learning process.
So, now I am secure about this previous idea : I want to make a complete Buffalo dac. I recently bought an Anedio D2 dac, a excellent device, a big sound, musical, with a good implementation of the Sabre chip. I bought a Paradisea+ dac after that, a sweet dac with a good potential for diyers. I'm making a few mods on it. The Anedio is
faaaaaaar (!) a better dac - for me!
Later on, I intend to "lampizate" my future Buffalo dac with an output from "The Lampizator", see
HERE, my ambition.
Not bad I think! But before that I want to buy the fuffalo dac with it's Pear Audio output.
To make it clear, I am a "soft" diyer, I mean I recently started my DIY activiites, without any electronic skills.
I made a very good LM3886 totally dual mono amp, with LDRs and lots of nice parts, well implemented.
This a typical first quality project for a diyer. Very simple and affordable.

My question is very simple.
I need a complete stereo Buffalo dac with volume control, input selector, regulators, output stage and all the possible fancy boards that Pear Audio has to improve the sound. I just want to have an idea about the items I should order...
I think I need this, but please correct me if I am wrong :

http://www.twistedpearau.../power/transformers.aspx 50VA - I hope there's a EU version, if not, I'll buy elsewhere. For psu board I'll have to buy this, (http://www.twistedpearaudio.com/power/lcbps.aspx), because the placid HD is out of stock
- What psu for the dac board??? With what transformer?
That's all, thank you for reading!
