Hi Russ, I have a similar issue as grimberg (not receiving the lock light) and I was wondering if you could help.
My configuration is the following: CD transport source (s/pdif) 4:1 MUX receiver COD dac. Dual low current PSU
I have assembled everything and I have 7.5VDC to the DAC and 5.5VDC to the MUX. Switch settings on the MUX are as follows: 1: - 2: + 3: + 4: -
I have a RCA coax directly connected to the 1st terminal of the input section on the PCB. The led's "+" lead (small filament in the package) is connected to the square solder pad on the board. For connecting the MUX to the COD I have done the following: MCK - SCK G - GND BCK - BCK LRCK - LRCK DOUT - DIN
On the COD I have left the switches in the default position, 0-0-0-0 respectively.
I have just verified the above connections with a multimeter and they are all connected correctly. Should I be able to receive a "lock" even if the DAC isn't connected?
I also have the TORX kit to integrate if I should need to compare test but the MUX should already be able to receive the simple s/pdif signal coming from my CD transport.
The CD transport, though a little older, still works well and other DACs have had no issues.
BTW: there was no selector switch included with the MUX order. Thanks in advance!
