Ok,Brian here we go.
AC input; 9.4v
DC large capacitor; 25 vdc
Vin-ccs current 494 mA
Tp out-Tp shunt 494 mA
V out 1.4 v ( increase a little bit when adjust current, but have to adjust very much current to increase a little bit more voltage out )
The led's light up as normal.

Are you measuring the CURRENT TP-VIN - TP-CCS? Or are you measuring the voltage (mV)?

As I have told before, I have put together an Placid BP, and it measure and works fine in my BII. But this Placid HD seems to be harder to get working properly.

I use Mundorf 22000uf-40vdc on Placid BP, and it works like a dream.

You can estimate rectified DC voltage as Vac * 1.4. That woudl be 9.4VAC * 1.4 = 13.16V. 25VDC is way off, so something is amiss with your measurement. Do you measure DC voltage at the input?

Thanks all for trying solv my problem. The Placid went up in smoke when powering up the dac, so I will order a new one and hope I have better luck next time.
Only my self to blame, and I am very satisfied with my TPA BII dac.
