I've decided to go dual-mono & was wondering if the new HD Placid is able to power both Legatos please?

Even if you can, I wouldn't do it.

This is the main reason you're going dual mono for better channel separation, also the 8 Dacs per channel...

In amps or preamps, when I go dual mono I always use two transfos and two power supplies and it does yield better sound, not by a mile but it does make a difference.

Thanks Pinnoccio. So is it OK to use an older type BP and one of the new HD ones together?
