Hello,

I use Placid HD & Placid HD BP for Buffalo IIISE DAC & Legato IV .

I assembly Placid HD & Placid HD BP but I'm confused about CCS and Shunt, so anyone help me clear .

With HD BP no load, I measure :

. Vol across R1( TP_VIN & TP_CCS) is 0.11V (110mA)
. Vol across R2( TP_OUT & TP_Shunt) is 0.05V (50mA)
. Vol OUT is 14.75V . Vol OUT increase 0.01V-0.02V in about 20 minutes .

All heatsink is warm, not hot .

I read in manual "5. Now adjust the CCS current (VR1) as needed for your application.", I use Legato with current load of about ~350mA , so I have to measure Vol across R1( TP_VIN & TP_CCS) increase to 0.35V (350mA) ? .

Thanks .

Van Duy

Yes, but make sure that TP_OUT & TP_Shunt) stays about 0.05V (50mA). That would mean that the voltage measured over TP_VIN & TP_CCS should become about 0.400V (400mA)

350mA Legato + 50 mA shunt = 400mA

Thanks you,

I measured CCS 500mA will decrease to 400mA, All heatsink is so hot .

Connect to Legato , all is ok . I measured all Legato output Ballance & SE is 0.1mV DC .

The heatsinks will become very hot when no load is connected :) With the load connected they should get warm, but not very hot.
