Rank: Member Groups: Member Joined: 7/16/2007(UTC) Posts: 25 Location: Seacoast, NH		Is it safe to assume that one can power the MUX and Buffalo off of the same LCDPS? It looks like the input voltage range is similar, just wondering if there are issues I'm not seeing. Thanks!

I guess I also need to order a separate power supply and transformer for the latter? What's the best option please? Thanks! Tony. One placid should work fine powering both MUX and Buf II. If you decide to add tridents you might want to use two Placids.

I received the Tridents a couple of weeks ago but alas I forgot to order an additional Placid to power them as you recommend Russ. As these are out of stock, is it better not to install the Tridents now, or will the existing Placid cope with powering all three items for the time being?

If it's an older version you might have trouble getting enough current out of it in which case you'll want to lower R5 or R6, depending on the version you have.
