Buff3 plus Ivy, all connected ok. Voltages ok, all power supply lights on, as are the Trident led's.
All Sw1 and Sw2 switches in off position.
Using Toslink module, linked to D1 and ground.
Lock led is lit.
Music is muffled. Any ideas what i am doing wrong.

I cannot hear the relay operate but it may be working (difficult to hear over the noise of the transformer. The voltage across the coil is 8.7 volts, is that about right?
Many Thanks

Not even close. The relay is 24 volt (+-12v equals 24 volts measured between the rails).

What are your readings out of the powersupply for the IVY. Measure between:

1: v+ and gnd
2: gnd and v-

Thanks to all who have helped. Dac now working.
I read both manuals for the power supplies, but had set the voltage on both to 5.25v, Missing the IVY voltage setting of +/-12v so it is little wonder that a 24v relay would not pull in at 10.5 volts.
