Brian Russ,

Is it possible to connect a buffalo direct to the i2s output off a SAA7210 chip inside a cd player ? or do I need a Metronome between SAA7210 and Buffalo. It is for putting in a buffalo in an existing cd player to upgrade and to use the i2s is better than spdif.

Thanks René.

I have no experience trying to interface with the chip, and have not had time to research it. Perhaps someone else hos used it could chime in.

Incidentally, here is a link to the datasheet: SAA7210
