Hi

What kind of chip caps does Buffalo 32S use for PS decoupling etc? I thought they were (COG?)ceramics (I think those on the outputs of the three 1763 regs are; what about AVCC?), but are they in fact PPS types? Of what values(s)?

Thanks

Paul

All of the caps on the Buffalo32 are ceramic. Values <= 0.1uF are C0G. Values > 0.1uF are X7R 5%. We tried several types in different positions before settling on what we have. The CoG caps have the lowest ESR, best stability, and lowest leakage. They also sounded the best.
