hello is it possible to connect an external clock like e.g.the terra firma or terra firma light from vacuumstate.com to the Buffalo 32? if so: is there anything to gain by it? and if so: how should it be connected on the dac board and what frequency should it have? best Leif Norway

There is no need for an external clock, the one provided is at least as good as the ones you would like to use.

christensenleif@msn.com wrote:why should I take your word for that? You shouldn't... The Buffalo 32s uses a Crystek CCHD-950, which is better speced than the tent labs clock used terra firma stuff. And besides that: you really don't need a hughe amount of caps to make a decent power supply for the clock.
