I have my Buffalo running through multiple devices, Computer, bluray, HDtv all using optical out via the toslink into dac. All is good apart from HDtv stations broadcasting using dolbydigital 2/0, whenever that is the case I get a staticy intermodulation type sound with none of the broadcast sound. Anyone know if there's a way around this??

You can probably change the output of the HDTV to PCM. Check the Audio menus.

Thanks Brian, that did the trick, just took a while to find the setting in the myriad of options:)
