I have removed the 24 Bufallo and implemented the new 32 and have found an issue.
My system comprises modded DIY Atmasphere OTLs in balanced mode driving DIY Bastanis Atlas, the subs have Mosfet amps built in and are driven SE.
In the 24 system the sub SE drive was buffered from the balanced output and I had an amazing deep and wide soundstage.
Running the new setup the SE drive is simply paralled of the + output from the ballanced out,now I have no soundstage at all.
Disconnect the subs and of course all the low end disapears but the soundstage depth and width returns in spades.
Im wondering if the asymetric impedance presented to the output opamps is affecting the sound, I know from reading that this asymetry destroys any CMMR advantage the balanced line may have over SE.
Maybe adding a Ballsie across the 32 output to drive the subs is the solution.?????

The Buffalo32 is designed to compensate for the asymmetric load and was actually measured this way. That said, you may still find the Ballsie lite, or Ventus for BAL/SE conversion more to your liking.

Cheers!
