Hi

I have a dual mono Opus wich i have used for a while. It has been working fine. Now I have added a IVY stage and a matching Bipolar PSU module:

I have connected both of the Opus's to only one IVY board, combining the respective with loadresistors.
The trouble is, that when earth is connected from the output of the Opus to the input of the IVY, the voltage from the bipolar psu is dropping on the negative side (to 8V). When ground is disconnected (only + and - connected) it's working fine. I guess I have some kind of groundloop. Any suggestions?

Best

The LCBPS and LCDPS cannot share a transformer, as it will cause a short (what you are seeing).

Thanks Brian. An extra transformer did the trick. And boy how much better it is than the DAC directly :)

Thanks
Bjorn :)
