Hi Russ and brian,
Is there someway of inactivating the automute function on B32S?
It is very responsive (even activated between tracks) and I would like to turn this function off (semi)permanently.
Also, unless to secret, I would like to know the type and values of the C11, C17 and C19 caps.
Thanks,
Nic

What you are describing would only happen if the player you are using actually interrupts the digital signal between tracks. This would be pretty unusual. I don't know anything that could be done about it.

The auto-mute is already completely disabled in firmware.

C11,17,19 are 10uf

Thanks for the reply Russ. Much appreciated.
Would the auto-mute be active in the absence of the firmware chip? That might explain the behavior.
I know that I'm tinkering well beyond what I can expect support for from your side so don't worry about answering my questions!
Keep up the good work,
Nic

No. Your channel mappings maybe messed up as well without the firmware.

As I replaced the two onboard 3.3V regs I lost power on volumite. Providing power "externally" to the volumite restores functionality and stops the annoying auto-mute between tracks.
Just for your info.
Thanks,
Nic
