I have the resistors and voltage reg installed. 3.3 volts coming off the vreg is good. The potentiometer works. Output at SDA is always 3.3 volts. I don't know what to check or change. I also have the power coming from vdd and I have the ground from the vdd -> volumite ground -> i2c ground. Do I need to short the addr spot on the buffalo board? Is the firmware oriented correctly? The dot on the chip should be on the inward side.

Yes the chip is in the right way. The dot is on the inside close to the potentiometer. Are the sda/scl backwards on the version 1.0 buffalo? What should be on the scl/sda lines? Do I need to change any switches on the buffalo board for it to work? Nevermind I got it. Its one of the boards where the sda and scl points are mislabeled. Thanks for looking at the thread and helping me. Edited by user Friday, July 24, 2009 3:42:58 PM(UTC)
