Hi, the Buffalo 32S should work very well with the Ballsie Lite, if the user needs single ended outputs.
Can someone tell me (and others) from when on the Ballie Lite will be available i.e. to order via this webside?
Thanks
Miki

Hi Russ and Brian, What will the Ballsie Lite power requirements and PCB dimensions be? Like Ballsie? Thanks, Nic Edited by user Wednesday, July 29, 2009 2:14:10 PM(UTC)

It will be available shortly after Brian is settled in his new house.
Power supply requirements are +/- 5-15V
Its actually a pretty small board at 1.8" x 2.2" And the electrolytic caps being the tallest comps it not very tall either. :)

Thanks Russ, I'm thinking of using the Ballsie Lite in a balanced preamp I'm building to expand the output options to include single ended. As I will rarely change power amps I was planning to use a toggle switch on the back panel of the pre-amp (if necessary) to select between balanced and single ended output. I can make this switch operate an OTTO, turning on/off the power for the Ballsie Lite or both. Maybe I don't need the switch at all. What's the better implementation? Thanks again, Nic

Hi, still waiting for the Ballsie-light that I can buy both, Buffalo and Ballsie-light together. When will Brian end his settlement into his new house? Is there any schedule? It's getting colder here in North-Germany and days become shorter and I am burnig to start my new DAC-project..... Miki

I have Ballsie kits packed and ready to go. I just need to run a test or two before giving the green light. I will try to do it tonight.
