Hi,
While I wait impatiently for the Sympatico kit to become available, I thought I might start gathering the parts together and make my case. Pretty easy to get the toroid size from the supplier and the basic board for the Sympatico is listed as 4 X 3 inches, but what is the heigth of the assembled amp units with the standard caps and standoffs? It looks like 3 inches might do it, but is that pushing it? Would 3.5 or 4 inches be better?

Thanks in advance.

Mark

EDIT: Ok I may have found my own answer. Over at the DIY forum Brian mentioned that he mounts his Sympatico to a 75mm tall heat sink. That would be 2.95 inches, so I should be good with 3 or 3.5 inch case heigth.

Ooops, sorry I missed this post the first time around. Yes, 3" is a good height for Sympatico.
