Hello,

I'm trying to find a somewhat complete description and/or schematic of the Kookaburra volume control (Russ White: I just sent you an email via the DIY Audio group!). This is so I can decide whether to use yours, or to make my own from scratch (from an idea I had before I saw mention of the Kook on DIY Audio).

In particular, does the PIC micro run continuously in the Kook? If so, I think I have a way to keep it asleep (and avoid any possible noise from it's operation) except on volume control changes, and would like to have it work that way. Assuming that concept works out, of course.

Anyway, the Kookaburra thread on DIY Audio is 74 pages long, my eyes were starting to glass over after more than an hour of scanning through.

Any help pointing me toward a description of the circuit operation or diagram would be appreciated!
