Its close to zero. :)
The minimum load from the datasheet is 2K.

The minimum load from the datasheet is 2K. Would you run an Opus directly into balanced amps that are 10k ohms each for plus/minus? [I know it sounds great with 100k...] If buffering, an IVY? Frank

Into 10K will not be a problem at all. You can use IVY-III if you like, but you should not actually need it. The IVY-III does however have the benefit of acting as a good low pass filter, which can make things sound better.

They are located in the kitchen connected via 40 ft. of 22/2 signal wire to the Opus in my living room DAC. In particular, it's REALLY nice to have the music seem entirely in-phase moving between rooms (and no audible speaker impedance issues from splitting an amp's output). But best of all is having a bit of music to help tedious work around the house. Thanks and best of luck with the sophisticated products in development. Frank
