Is the Counterpoint suitable for use with other current output DAC's, such as the TDA1541?

I'm debating updating the I/V stage in my cd player vs using something like the Counterpoint.

regards,
Marc

You certainly could, but you would want to change a few things. I will post them in a bit.

Hi, hope someone can help! I've just purchased a pair of beta Counterpoint pcbs' which I'll use with my COD DAC for SE use.
To achieve SE output from the CP, can I connect a 600 Ohm, 1:1 transformer, like the EDCOR WSM 600?
Thanks in advance,

Roger
