For use in Europe , is there any possible drawback by the different AC frequency ? 50 Hz vs 60 Hz in USA.
Never had a chance to hear a definite answer on this. The only one I crossed at which referred this point is Lavry, stating his designs are OK with 45 to 70 Hz AC .

This is only really important for the mains-facing AC components in the system.
Our transformers are rated for 50/60Hz use (http://avellindberg.com/pdf/avel_y23_range.pdf). Check for a 50Hz rating on any transformer you are interested in using. Most quality units will work at 50Hz and 60Hz.
