Hi, Brian / Russ...
I finally got around to ordering all the parts for the Sympatico boards. I've got enough parts for 5 channels, but it was around £300 (as you can imagine).
I was just wondering - I bought all the parts the were on the original BOM (x 5), apart from the "standard" value resistors (10K, 22K, 220R etc.). Are there any resistors on the Sympatico which absolutely require 0.1% tolerence? I've got a few hundred cheap 1% resistors - will this make a serious impact on the sound quality or DC offsets etc?
I can always get some better resistors at a later date, but I wanted to make sure I could use the cheap ones for now.
I'll post some pics in the gallery thread when it's all built.
Thanks, OzOnE. (Ash)

Hi OzOnE,
1% metal film will work just fine, just match them as well as you can in pairs. It should be pretty clear from the schematic which resistors form pairs.
Cheers! Russ

Hi,
OK, thanks for the reply. I'll make sure to test for any offsets afterwards. I'm sure it will be fine though as it's a good design.
I've got all the parts now, so I'm soldering like mad today.
OzOnE.
