Hi, I found a post from Russ White that he was using a beagleboard to supply I2s signal to a buffalo dac.

Could you do a how to or run down on what to buy and what software to install.

Hi guys, I did do it, and it does work very well, but it is not trivial. :)

If I have time someday I will write up what I did.

Do you have an update on this work?
I am also trying to fetch the i2s from my BeagleBoard xM.

No, I have moved beyond that project. I have not looked at it for a long time. You should be able to find all you need from their site and forums.
