Hi,

I am using your buffalo combined with an IVY (balanced out) and it sounds great!

What is the best way to get a combined L+R signal output for use with a subwoofer?

Can I just put a Y-splitter on the unbalanced L+R signals; I'm thinking not?

How about a passive circuit with a couple resistors like in this example - ( http://www.tkk.fi/Misc/E...cs/circuits/linesum.html )

If this will work, how would I best size the resistors?

I'd like to do this properly.

Thanks for any suggestions.

This is a good article on what you are trying to do.

The best way would be to use buffer the signals then combine, but since you are not intending to use the SE outputs for anything else, the LME49720 on the IVY will be your buffer.
