Hi,

The description of the current Buffalo III se Pro said it can be configured as MONO mode, i.e. 2 board for stereo. I do not find such information from the manual. I guess probably I missed something. Can anybody help ? Thanks.

The standard BIIIsePro firmware is stereo only - probably because there's no audible advantage in dual mono with the 9038 chip

You would need custom firmware to configure mono mode (you could use my Arduino library for this) - or feed the dac with the same L & R digital signal
