I am building a DAC with a pair of CODs with IVY/III for I/V conversion. Fed by WM8804 S/PDIF transceiver and Amanero connected via OTTO-II. It all worked beautifully when I had it connected in a bench setup. However when I mounted it in the cases I stupidly reversed the positive and negative supply from Centaur to the CODs and S/PDIF transceiver. I had it connected through a dim bulb tester but don't think that offered enough protection. I've corrected my error but the VRD LDO regulator on both COD boards has been burned. Now I don't get sound output from the DAC.

My question is how to proceed. I'll order new regulators for the COD boards. What else is likely to be damaged?

Thanks for all suggestions.

Likely just the vregs, but possibly the EL caps.

I have ordered the regulators. I assume the "EL" capacitors are the 6 electrolytics since they are local filters for the regulated supply - correct? I'll order those also?

I replaced the regulators and the COD boards are now working. I'm getting quite a bit of static/noise when using the WM8804 S/PDIF receiver but the Amanero input is great. What have I done to the S/PDIF receiver? Thanks.
