Could the Cronus/Hermes combo be placed inbetween 4:1 mux and Buffalo-IIIsePRO, thus providing isolation and reclocking to 4 i2s sources?

I have been thinking of adding an additional usb input, possible even integrate a raspberry pi, and it would be cool to get the benefits of the existing Cronus/Hermes.

In order for you to use the Cronus, your source needs to accept an external master clock. Assuming that is the case, routing the master clock through the MUX back to the source might be tricky. The MUX can certainly handle the routing, but sources might not like having their master clock switched on and off, resulting in unpredictable behaviors.
