I have a BIIISE / Legato behind a teleporter switched combination of BBB/Hermes/Cronus and Amanero/Hermes/Cronus. My issue is that when using a current version of Mpd on the BBB side I can play 16 bit, 24 bit and DSD128 files but not DSD256. Using the Amanero side with Daphile feeding it the same DSD256 files play perfectly. The DSD256 issue is white noise which cuts in and out frequently.with no music evident in the sound. I believe I used to be able to play DSD256 with the BBB but am not completely positive about that. I don't have any DSD512 files to verify if the problem exists with those as well.
