Hello, just two basic questions about OTTO II, please be patient... I have a pair of OTTO II boards, both powered by the same PS that powers my Buffalo IIIse pro board. + and - from PSU are connected to both boards and to BIIIse pro. The two OTTO boards have to be switched at the same time by a single spdt switch. 1) Can i connect both S pins to the same switch pole so to switch both of them at the same time? Something like the following picture: Otto double switch.jpg (94kb) downloaded 10 time(s).2) As i said, both OTTO boards will be connected to PSU ground and so is BIIIse pro. Each board will have two sources connected to switch from; for each source GND pins will be connected to the relative OTTO board (see following picture). Otto ground loop.jpg (194kb) downloaded 21 time(s).Sources' grounds will be floating. Will these cause two ground loops? Then what is the correct PSU and sources wiring for this setup? Thank you very much for your suggestions! Edited by user Sunday, July 22, 2018 11:08:50 PM(UTC)

1) Yes, that is fine. 2) You can leave out the signal GND connections, since the same connection is made at the power terminals. Also, you could power the OTTO-IIs from the DAC's I2C header (3.3V). It can supply up to around 800mA+. Edited by user Monday, July 23, 2018 2:43:17 AM(UTC)
