Hi,

I am a newbie, I havent done much DIY except raspberry and various HATS, I want to make a phono stage, I scanned forums and google, but I still want to ask a few questions.

My system is:
Linn LP12, refurbished valhalla power supply, ithok lvii arm with adikt cartridge (mm)
schiit mani phono stage (I want to improve this)
hegel h360 integrated amp
legacy audio classic hd speakers

I would like to undertsand:

1) If retro high Z kit would work with adikt (i believ it has 6.5mV output but I am not sure.
2) My linn deck gives out two rca outputs (single end?) i think i should be able to connect this to retro (in- linked to gnd) and still get xlr out if i want to
3) is it also possible to get unbalanced out of retro?

4) I will also need a placid bipolar power supply as far as I understand. When i look at existing projects it looks like I also need a torroidal transformer to feed placid? how does that section work?

I know some of these questions are a bit stupid but it is hard to look for an answer when I don't exactly know what to look for :)
