What I want to build:
A Stereo DAC based on the ESS Sabre 9038 Pro Chip & An 8 channel DAC based on the ESS Sabre 9038 Pro Chip
Ideally, both in the same housing

It should have a low noise-floor
with Femto Clock Speeds and low jitter
It should accept a master-clock input
Its outputs will need to be RCA Outputs
The outputs will be fed into an analogue pre-amplifier


What it should do:

TOSLINK (4 inputs)
Coaxial RCA (4 inputs)
USB Input
I2S Input

Playback Sampling Rates: 44.1, 48, 96, 192, 256, 384 kHz
Bitrate Playback: 16, 24, 32


Output:
2 Channel RCA Dual-Mono Output
8 Channel RCA Output

Remote Volume Control ?

Display Output:
Input Selection
Playback Bitrate
Playback Sample Rate
Stereo Out, 6 Channel Out, 8 Channel Out

Other than power supplies, what components will I need from Twisted Pear Audio to build the ultimate DAC ?

At a minimum, I would need a Buffalo DAC III se with full regulators and a Buffalo III 8 channel with full regulators (all should be based on the 9038 Pro chips), TOSLink Module Kits (I have 4 devices that have TOSLINK), a Amanero Combo384 Module USB Module. But I don't know which version of clock to get, and if I will need a line stage, and which type of linestage, and if there is anything else I will need to complete this project.
