The paired small transistors QN3 and QN5 plus the pair QP3 and QP5 are meant to be thermo coupled. Join these before soldering them in place. Join them with what ? A close up picture would be great. Edited by user Friday, April 29, 2016 4:11:56 AM(UTC)

Yeah, you don't have to join them, but is does make them work ever-so-slightly better.
A small piece of heatshrink or a small tie-wrap works.
If you join them after soldering*, a dab of Cyanoacrylate glue will work very well.
* ( the heat of soldering will break the joint )

Yet to get to them. Will be using 2 PSUs to juice up my 3 way active boards. Converted a damaged linn amp box for them.

Decided to dispense using the transformer hold down stuff and used only clear silicone to hold them in place.
