Hi All,
Please be patient this will be my first DAC project. After lots of research, decided to start with the best and not waste time "working my up". Only have a small budget to start and planning to order the Buffalo Dac II.
A few questions:
As an intermediate step, can I build the Buffalo Dac II with a LM317T and replace them at a later date?
Is the 9V+9V (30VA) Power Transformer the correct transformer for the Buffalo Dac II ?
Thinking Buffalo Dac II with LM317T Regulator and USB to I2S to start and then add as I can.
Suggestions ?

Sure you can use any regulator that you like as long as it is capable of supplying the correct voltage and current.
