First of all, thanks for all your work Russ and Brian.

I am looking at my configuration to see what I can do with inputs and I have two DAC`s atm. One close to my computer that has the amanero card connected (and a teleporter that transmit the i2s signal (3 channels) to the DAC in the main system).

In my main DAC I have many inputs that go through switching and ends up as 1 consumer level SP-dif signal connected to the SP-dif input on the B3 se (this could easily be converted to TTL level). What I am wondering is;

Can I use the 4 channels of the teleporter independant of each other;
3 carrying i2s in one direction and
1 carrying spdif (TTL) in the other direction?

Then I would get the inputs from my main system connected to the computer / headfi DAC as well ;)

I take it that I can not send the signal as a consumer level sp-dif as the termination would not work. But is that also true for TTL level SP-dif?
Can the teleporter system carry 5V TTL spdif signals?

Best regards
Gunnar W

I think it should work, but would use a 3.3V TTL signal (if possible). If not, try consumer-level. 5V is too high for the LVDS chip.

Great, thanks. I`ll give it a try and report back ;)

Is the output of the optical module 3.3V or 5V ttl?
