I will be placing both of my amps in the same chassis, both powered by the same transformer. To minimise any ground loop impacts (it will have a pre-amp connected to it), I want to implement a disconnecting circuit in the ground return of the circuits, as per the attached diagram from Rod Elliots (ESP) website.  disconnecting circuit.PNG (9kb) downloaded 20 time(s).To implement the above I would need to connect both amps zero volt lines together, and from that I would install the ground break circuit, and attach to the chassis. My question is, where on the Sympatico boards can I take a feed from the zero vault line to allow me to do the above? Would the IG connection in the image below be suitable (circled in red); I'm operating in single ended mode, not balanced, so IG isn't going to be needed for my RCA connections. I'm also assuming that the IG input is connected to the ground circuit that encompasses the signal grounds, as well the zero volt line from the power supply circuit. I think I've answered this one for myself (again).
My conclusion is that I need to attach the ground loop breaker to either the CT1 or CT2 inputs - that's where every other circuit seems to take it from.
Am I wrong?
