OK, I'm having trouble with i2c volume control (as per http://www.diyaudio.com/...-botic-linux-driver.html ). I'm thinking that there could be an issue with the BII i2c headers. Perhaps I can try plugging into the empty onboard firmware sockets? I've found continuity with GND and with SCL but not with SDA (hence my thinking that the headers have a problem). Which sockets should pass the SDA and SCL signals?

I posted this on DIYAudio, but will put here as well.

For the B-II:

SCL -> IC8 Pin 7 (ES9018 Pin 22)
SDA -> IC8 Pin 5 (ES9018 Pin 21)

They are connected to 2K pull-up resistors R14 and R15.
