Hi,
Have a problem setting up a volumite with BII for a friend. I am using the HBW chip in the BII and corresponding chip in the volumite. Without volumite get lock correctly and music is fine. With volumite in circuit get intermittent lock drop-outs and the pot doesn't attenuate the sound level at all.
Have triple checked connections, voltages and reflowed solder on the volumite board. Checked the pot is OK.
Any thoughts on this one? Is it possible the firmware on the volumite is faulty?

When using the volumite you only use the firmware chip in the volumite. Out goes the the BII firmware chip. Try that . Edited by user Saturday, August 1, 2015 8:02:26 AM(UTC)

Hey, that seems to work, thanks.
Tho I do seem to have a badly fitting chip - have to put some pressure on it in the socket to keep it working reliably - will sort that..
