I have two issues I am trying to solve and would appreciate advice on the best approach.

I would like to be able to use the Retro output into an A/D converter that would be appropriate to then feed the digital signal into a PC. What is the most appropriate A/D converter to accomplish this?

The second question is how to best configure the Retro output to feed my Buffalo II/Ivy III when I only want to enjoy listening to my vinyl collection without using a computer? I suspect I need either the same or another A/D converter, but I could not identify a suitable product in the Twisted Pair offerings. What am I missing?

Thank you in advance for any help. Dale

Dale, did you find any solution?
I have been looking around online and only found one DIY ADC and a number of professional audio ADC,, the latter very expensive.
Im beginning to think that a mod to bypass the DAC section in my premed is the only solution.

I have not tried this, but it is the one that I will use.

Edit: but I will proborably only use vinyl to get a better source for ripping to digital. Too many of the CD`s I`ve bought lately have been mastered in a way that I hate (dynamic compression), while most of the LP`s I`ve bought dont seem to have been mastered with DC.

What are the specifications of your Retro?
How you connected it with the PC?
Also does it require any driver or special software for its working?
What is the use of twisted pair here?

pcb prototypes
